Annual Renewals

If you have not registered with CDHBC at any time in the past, please see First-Time Applicants.

All CDHBC registrations expire on the last day of February each year. Notice of the renewal time period is emailed to each registrant in accordance with the bylaws.

Preparing to Renew

All registrants must provide a completed renewal application, and proof of professional negligence insurance (except registrants renewing in the non-practicing category).

You will also need:

  • Your contact information.
  • Your Current Health Provider (HCP) CPR or Basic Life Savig (BLS) Certification.
  • Your relevant  Quality Assurance Program information.
  • 5 Year Criminal Record Check (CRC) **For those unable to complete the CRC online or who have been "locked out"by the Ministry's website, please contact the CDHBC Registration Office for assistance**
  • Payment of Fees.

Submitting Your Renewal


Online renewal is accessible 24 hours a day during the six-week renewal period each year. The online renewal system accepts payment from Visa, Visa Debit, Interac Debit, and MasterCard.
